Rappahannock River Float is all planned for the weekend.
I told the kids:

Early Saturday AM we will travel to Fredericksburg for a canoe/kayak trip, Motts Run to downtown Fredericksburg, VA.
You will need a long layer over a swimsuit, preferably not cotton.
You will also need a dry change of clothes to put in a dry bag.
The trip in not very long ~3hrs, so we will stop, play and cook lunch on the river. We will trade boats and practice some skills in the moving water. It will be too cold to swim.
Going with us are: Brandon, his sister Daphne, and her son Derrick. (youngest)
We will be home around 5pm.
We always remember to check the weather and the river level!!!
